This is a look of been dreaming of for my bedroom- actually my dream colors have been “white, gray and goldenrod” since I like the softness combined with the pop. But I wanted to share these great images I’ve been finding of the bold trend of black white and yellow.

The subjects, the styling and the juxtaposition all lead me to love this selection of images I’ve chosen from the portfolio of London photographer James Merrell. I always love asymmetry when it comes to pops like chandelier placement and these spaces really play with the balance of focal elements.

Here are some more amazing closets and dressing areas I’ve piled up, much like a pile of rejected outfits yearning for a pretty place to call home in my own bedroom. Carrie Bradshaw (and Mr. Big!) would approve of these beauties.
